About

I'm an Information Architect/User Experience Designer at Dartmouth College. My specialty is web project planning and building sites. I develop in Drupal, WordPress and a couple other content management systems that shall not be mentioned.

I joined Dartmouth in early 2011; before that I spent six years at Duke University as a web developer. I also freelance.

I grew up in the Boston area. In a fit of collegiate overachievism, I triple-majored in comparative literature, gender studies and classical studies, and minored in computer science. I also hold a masters degree in information science. Both my undergrad and graduate degrees are from Indiana University.

My claim to fame? I served John Mellencamp a chicken sandwich. Twice.

Me

For fun, I like to hike and backpack and ski, and generally just be outside. I also enjoy the symphony and independent films.

I have never scrapbooked. I like palindromes.

Nora and Luna

These are my dogs Nora and Luna, who are both adopted from the APS of Durham. Luna is a lab/pointer mix with a serious tennis ball habit. I adopted her in January 2006 when she was one year old. Nora is a lab/boxer mix who likes to destroy pillows. I adopted her in December 2008 when she was a 5 month old puppy.

I’m terrible at geography. I drink far too much coffee than can possibly be good for me. My favorite colors are #660000 and #000055.
